Hi there, this will only be a short post today because I'm in a bit of a rush! We have a really busy weekend coming up and I have lots to do today to prepare for it. I'm about to leap into my studio to record my radio show for next week too because I won't have time on Sunday. I really need to get out there before it gets too hot.
Yesterday was a funny but good day in many ways. I did loads of watering, including having a 45 minute battle with one particular hose connection which meant I was walking backwards and forwards from the oak garden to the hose tap around 15 times, getting nowhere fast! Giggle. I gave up in the end and John, bless his heart, fixed it when he got home. I'd done everything I could think of including taking the timer itself off the tap in case it was the problem, crikey what a struggle that was.
I'm hoping and praying for some cloud, at least, this weekend so the garden doesn't dry out too much while we are busy.
Oooh my tomatoes are ripening really well and this year I seem to have got the equation just right when it comes to the types I've planted and the way they are ripening. I also have some ''free'' ones from seedlings that grew from our home compost - yum!
Ok, I'd better leave this here and will write more tomorrow though it might be a bit late! Smiles..
