Hi there, yes I'm still here, madly packing boxes, putting plants aside for future shipments and not managing to get much gardening done! Having said that the garden is looking amazing at the moment. The spring growth is beautiful (yes, even the weeds) and there are flowers and also lots of fragrance everywhere.
This morning I had a small garden group visit the garden and nursery and it was lovely to hear everyone saying how much fragrance was in the air. I have a beautiful species wisteria and a port wine magnolia (Magnolia figo) that compete for air-space right next to each other. In the evening their fragrance is REALLY intense.
My ballet exam is on the first weekend of Dec so we're having an extra practise on Saturday at 3.45pm for the next three weeks. There are 3 of us doing the exam and apart from the short barre work and one of the centre items we do the rest of the centre work one at a time. It feels very different from doing ballet class when there are 5-7 others on the floor so it's good to get plenty of practise doing it one by one. Oh how I love ballet.. it truly is magical every time I step through the door of the dance studio.
Well I'd better get back to work. Here are some photos of gardening ''happenings''. Smiles...
